GreenWorks 25142 10 Amp Corded 16 Inch Mower Reviews 2016

The GreenWorks 25142 electric lawn mower is an excellent choice if you’re looking for an electric lawn mower because you’re tired of dealing with flammable gas and a conventional reel mower just isn’t powerful enough. No more fumes, no more yanking on a starter cord until your arm falls off. Just plug this baby in and away you mow. check out our best self propelled lawn mower guide.
This GreenWorks 25142 electric lawn mower looks like something from the future, almost like a small race car so you’ll be sure to turn some heads as you zoom around your yard in style. It features a 10 amp electric motor with enough power to mow most lawns and the 16″ cutting deck is a good compromise between size and functionality. It’s small enough to store easily, but large enough for small to medium sized yards. It doesn’t have a side discharge, but seriously, who uses that anymore? It’s the 2000′s, we mulch or bag these days and the GreenWorks 25142 will do both of those. A nice feature that GreenWorks provides that many other lawn mower brands don’t is the single location height adjustment. There’s a simple T-handle on the top of the lawn mower that will adjust all 4 wheels at once to mow from 5/8″ to 2 5/8″. That’s the lowest I’ve seen anywhere on this style mower, which is excellent for bermuda or centipede lawns. No longer do you have to waste your time adjusting all 4 wheels and making the all too common mistake of not adjusting them the same so you get a lopsided yard. Yes, I’ve done it before and I’m sure you have too! This model does require an extension cord, so make sure you have one long enough and with thick enough wires to handle the task.
This lawn mower is a good choice for those looking to venture into the electric world. The GreenWorks 25142 is affordable and built with quality. It’s sure to last you for many years and since it’s corded, there’s no worry about charging batteries, or worse, finding the battery dead after a long cold winter.
